There’s a few things coming out. One of the consultants was supposed to have almost caught her harming a baby but didn’t report it for a year. The consultants should have contacted the Coroner when they had suspicions they didn’t. The jury wasn’t informed that two of the main prosecution witnesses had been disciplined for bullying her .One of them probably accidentally injured a baby that she was accused of murdering. A lot of the babies weren’t as stable as was made out etc Beyond reasonable doubt is getting stretched

Dodgy statistics - there was a statistician on Times Radio tonight - I will post her comments when they go on line - but they were pretty scathing/
Failed Door logging as mentioned before
Coverup of an infection rife in CofC that was capable of killing newborns as mentioned before
The list goes on - thank goodness we don't have capital punishment.

From personal experience I know the Countess of Chester hospital has some serious issues and that’s within the last two years

"The neonatologist said if the Countess of Chester Hospital had been in Canada, it would have been shut down."
I cannot understand why prosecutors would resist an appeal - surely "justice" is more important than adding another tick to the "wins" column and ensuring it stays there?
And if it transpires than doctors and mangers have scapegoated LL to cover their own failings, then I hope jail time beckons (though not optimistic given the perjurers in Horizon case seem to have got off scott free).

When the doctors first started picking on LL the managers supported her and disciplined them. I think there’s been a big attempt to scapegoat someone vulnerable From the enquiry it came out that the consultants visited the unit only twice a week. Lucy was one of the staff who expressed they felt a lack of support
There’s something that doesn’t sit right with me as why did they go to the hospital bosses not the Coroner with their concerns when it should be the Coroner
