Prostate ‘remedies’

Perhaps some of you are having or taking prostate treatment; any chance of your insights please. My doc offers drugs which seem to be pretty nasty. Are there any proven alternatives which work based on alternatives, please as there seem to be so many online.

I was using a herbal one - Saw Palmetto - which made no noticeable difference - and now seems to be withdrawn from the online place I used to use.

Someone did advise me I have 2 medications: Dutasteride after lunch and Alfusozine after dinner. They are extremely effective and I get an uninterrupted night's sleep and reasonably good flow in the daytime. Dutasteride is also prescribed for hair loss, apparently!

But all this is, of course, dependant on a low PSA - otherwise an oncologist should be your next port of call.

From a someone female but working in health find out what the issue is an then look at treatments complementary or conventional
A raised PSA won’t necessarily mean an immediate visit to an oncologist until other causes have been ruled out

4 Or 5 visits a night then one dutasteride daily. Now once a night over a 9 hour period. Urologist gave me a two year pass after my last rdv so I'm happy.

OH's Urologist concurs: Alfuzosine at breakfast and Dutasteride after dinner is the best available treatment for enlarged prostate as long as it's benign. It worked well for him until a Fybroscopy upset the routine. His hair looks lovely too!
