Catch a falling Pa
Hugs from here.
If you need to let garden or housework 'go' do so, you need to look after yourself and make sure you eat well even if not hungry. Always have easy to cook food you like in the house, including treats.
Fixit and I have been through a challenging couple of years and we're not out of it yet... I have done nothing in our garden for two summers but heyho, I'll be able to do it some time (fingers crossed)and anyway the birds love it. Can't see much through the dusty windows!
Talk/rant here as often as you like xxxx

How do people live without at least one dog in the house?

Not sure if I’m typing in the right space. Anyway, time has passed and lots has happened, not much of it good. John spent just over a year in the Ehpad, where he was well cared for. He died last week and his funeral was two days ago. I was surrounded by family and friends. I still have two daughters with me, helping with all the inevitable paperwork.
Coincidentally it is exactly fifty years since we left the UK for the Netherlands. People keep asking me if I’m moving back. Back where? I’m a foreigner in the UK now. I’m considering moving back to the Netherlands, near my youngest daughter in the Hague.
I know I haven’t posted on here for a long time. This may change now.
Cordialement, Angela

Sorry to hear your bad news @Grangela My condolences. I'm glad you had your daughter's with you.
I would give it a while to let things settle, as it were. Before making any decisions on moving.

So sorry to hear that, Angela.
I moved to France within a year of my OH dying & I've never regretted it. You must put yourself first now.

I'm so sorry Grangela. As Naylor said, it is good you have your two daughters with you to help.
I agree too about giving yourself some time to grieve before making any long term decisions.

Hi Grangela - I was so sorry to read your sad news. I agree that it’s best to let time pass before making major decisions for your future. It’s great that you have your daughters to support you and help with all the paperwork etc. Look after yourself xx

Thank you all very much.
My (four)children are urging me to stay put for the time being, so I probably will.
I’ll stay quiet for a while, but will let you know what I decide.
Thanks again.
Angela
