Well, it has all kicked off now. We all saw it coming, the ships have been heading for the middle east for ages. With his banker buddies Israel Trump's boys have gone to war. You will no doubt hear Trump's announcement on the news. He says he is acting to defend the US and his friends and allies in Europe. I nearly spat out my coffee when I heard that sleazebag say that. Not long ago he was slagging off Europeans and British alike and has slapped on tariffs like confetti at a wedding. Now he's saying this war is for our mutual benefit.

I do hope Starmer has the good sense to not get drawn into this.

Trump claims Iran has rejected every opportunity to renounce its nuclear ambitions and continued to develop long range missiles that can threaten allies in Europe, US troops overseas and "could soon reach the American homeland"
He says the US is going to raze Iran's missile industry to the ground and "annihilate" its Navy

So he now feels he has to protect allies in Europe .... but for his own reasons.
I hope Europe doesn't get drawn into this.

Nothing is certain, he will most certainly have gone somewhere secure beforehand.

The situation in the Middle East is far too serious to be taken lightly and joked about.

US President Donald Trump has just warned Iran not to strike back at the US and Israel.
Writing on his Truth Social platform, he said, "Iran just stated that they are going to hit very hard today, harder than they have ever hit before. THEY BETTER NOT DO THAT, HOWEVER, BECAUSE IF THEY DO, WE WILL HIT THEM WITH A FORCE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE!"
His statement comes after the the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps warned it would attack US bases and Israel in retaliation for Khamenei's death.
"The most devastating offensive operation in the history of the Islamic Republic of Iran's armed forces will begin toward the occupied territories and American terrorist bases in just moments," it said a few hours ago.

It's unlikely that DT is bluffing. If Iran retaliates, the US could respond with something more than conventional weapons. We can only pray it doesn't come to that.
