In case anyone doesn't know, the new Trotskyist maire of Saint-Denis, a "troubled" quarter of Paris with a large Moslem population, has decided that the Police Municipal there must be disarmed, particularly of LBDs (a sort of riot gun that fires balls). The number of police who have resigned or asked for a transfer is massive, something like 95 out of 140.
