Warm weather here, dragonflies and flutterbys still about.
My little pre compost heap tin in the kitchen for peelings etc, attracts the little fruit flies.
Opened up FiF and said to Senior Management, Ye Gods I have bloody fruit flies all over the screen!
Then the spiders came.
I swear that damn bat is laughing at me.
What a brill fun idea.
But I am still a Plonker.....

It is almost an old MSDOS game, space invaders: hunting season is here to stay for a while, use your bat/cursor to scare those spiders and flies......keeps you busy......

You're not a plonker at all [mention]Stinky[/mention] - the fruit flies are incredibly realistic so it's quiet understandable that you thought yours had invaded your screen.

Our young cats, dozing on top a warm CRT monitor, started hunting when I said, moving the cursor on the screen: he guys, get this fly below you. The glass of an old monitor is rather scratch resistant, no harm done. If you repeat this experiment with your LCD display of your laptop as very attractive and realistic hunting ground, you've been warned.....

And that thought leads me on to think about people who allow cats to climb everywhere they like in a house. Have a look inside a computer casing or laptop to see how much cat fur is clogging up the ventilation fans, etc. Its bad enough with ordinary dust building up.

I don't have cats and I don't allow the dogs to crawl over my laptop, but I still have to give it a good battering every now and again when the top line of letters rfss t wrk.
