Thanks for you replies with the TdF the commentary is as much as the viewing experience as the visual, subtitles are no good by the time you have read them you have missed some action on screen, will sadly miss it but life is too short to cry over it.

SBS sport seems to have an 'interesting' commentary if you don't mind the Aussie accent :D

Why do "many hate them"?
We've been with them for over 20 years & apart from a few small problems, mainly down to the individuals dealing with them, they've been fine.
No idea. Like you we have not had major problems in 23 years.

Same here, we've been with Orange since 2007 no problems what so ever.

Currently down to 21 in france this morning but were over 45 fires yesterday. Hopefully the peek will be less today, now they have caught someone who they believe have set at least 8 in Herault over the last few days.
Standing by the side of the road for hours is not compulsory.

Agreed ! You get a much better overall view from the telly. Unfortunately the French commentary is wonderfully soporific so we sometimes miss stages

I think my youtube link is only audible coverage. I enrolled to France TV on my laptop - and I'm hoping the old boy in the care home who I still visit can watch it on his tablet.
