Interestingly Enedis we’re flying very low over this area yesterday afternoon surveying local overhead lines. The majority of the village has underground lines but as they move into the countryside they return overhead.

The farmers have been doing a huge amount to help, particularly to ensure the pompiers are topped up with water.

Ah I thought it was them flying low near us a few days ago, it didn't twig why, as it was only a few months ago that they had a good look around us.

Sadly conspiracy theories are starting, apparently EDF wanted to install a big solar installation in that area but it was rejected, now there is a massive clean area, our cleaner is here today and pointing the finger at the government and EDF, bloody scocial media and click bait influencers, they are the bane of society.

I réalise my username is little inappropriate at the moment !
Things were calm yesterday. Everyone had gone from the expo parc. However with the heat and wind increasing today and tomorrow, there are likely to be more evacuations. We are privy to info that the press aren't so have to be careful what we say !
As ambulance drivers, oh and I are on standby 24/24 so have to nap when we can. I currently have a Birdelause in my crew - thank goodness. I'd never have found the garage to refill the fuel !!

Good to hear from you Blaze. Try to get some rest. The current weather does not look good. I saw that one of the fires has started up again. I hope they can get it under control quickly.
